Subject: Quick and Easy Cream Biscuits
Quick & Easy Cream Biscuits:
Video and printed out recipe have differences.
Video states: 1 tsp baking powder and 1 1/4 cup cream and bake @ 425.

Print out recipe states: 2 tsp baking powder and 1 1/2 cup cream @ 450.

So which is right?

Meg:

I make CI's cream biscuits frequently. For 2 cups of flour, I use 2 t. baking powder and 1 1/2 c. cold heavy cream. Bake at 450.

Hope that helps!

Beth

Or warm and fresh as a base for shortcake.

Sometimes I add chopped chives to the biscuit dough, and then make scrambled egg sandwiches with the warm biscuits(with bacon or sausage, and cheese).

Sometimes I'll add to the dough bits of chopped ham, grated cheddar and green onion. I like to take these on a picnic or hike - they make for hardy, portable snack.

Any other ideas for cream biscuits out there?
