Subject: Architec Gripper Cutting Board
Beware. I almost always purchase based on CI recommendations but they've done me wrong this time. This board spins like a top on a string. I returned this misnamed cutting board to the store as quickly as I could. Just to confirm my dissatisfaction, the board spun out of control under the slightest pressure on the cash counter at Sur La Table, just like in my kitchen. How could something called "The Gripper" be so grip-free? It just doesn't make sense.

The one I found on sale at Crate and Barrell, with a little suction cup on each corner is stable, immobile and features the same cutting surface as the Architec. What was CI thinking??!

I have the recommended Architec Gripper Nonslip, and it definitely does not slip anywhere. I got this one and am very happy with it. It has gripping cups all over the bottom.

I have the same Architec that Alina does, but mine is blue...I also have the wood one with the grippers on the underside...I have never had a problem with slippng or spinning for either one
