I’m no vegetarian, but I do at least try to cut back on my weekly meat intake. But sometimes I want vegetarian tacos that aren’t filled to the brim with a cornucopia of potatoes and veggies. Sometimes I want meatless tacos that taste like meat.

One of the best things about plant-based meat, such as those from Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat, is that it’s a blank slate. You can transform its flavor with spices and mix-ins. One of my favorite ways to do that is with our Mexican chorizo seasoning blend.
Add this seasoning blend to your plant-based meat and you’ve got plant-based chorizo. It couldn’t be simpler. And the flavor? It’s savory, herbal, and warmly spiced. You don’t have to trick yourself into saying, “It’s fine.” This really tastes like chorizo.
Once you have your plant-based chorizo, the possibilities are endless. Add it to tacos, burgers, soups, burritos, or even a frittata. This warm, spicy (and meatless!) chorizo tastes delicious on just about anything.
