To make this simple snack, we painted sheets of nori lightly with sesame oil and then sprinkled a mixture of sesame seeds, garlic powder, and salt (plus a pinch of cayenne pepper, if your family is okay with a little heat) on top before cutting the sheets into bite-size pieces. After less than ten minutes in the oven and ten minutes of cooling time, these chips are ready to get devoured.
Are they potato chips? No, but they’re delicious enough in their own right. When we sent this recipe from our forthcoming cookbook Kids Can Cook Anything! to our kid recipe testers, one reported that the chips were “Very easy, very crispy, and very tasty!” and another that they were “Crunchy, spicy, and awesome.”
