Whether it’s paired with chicken wings, carrot sticks, or a healthy hunk of za'atar flatbread, a dip comes in handy. But sometimes making a dip can take more time than prepping whatever you’re eating it with.

There’s a time and a place for more involved dip recipes (sometimes the effort is certainly worth it!), but if you’re just looking for a last-minute addition to a crudités platter, something tasty to serve unexpected guests, or a quick snack to pull together in between meetings, we’ve got you covered.

Here are five dips you can make with little to no prep or special tools.

1. Green Goddess Dip

This is a great way to turn your mayo into something delicious enough to dip any vegetable into. Our Green Goddess Dip is tangy and cooling with a pop of green fit for a platter.

Making this dip requires only a few stirs and an hour of refrigeration. Not ready to use it right away? It lasts in the fridge for up to 3 days.

2. Honey-Dijon Dipping Sauce

This sweet and tangy confection comes together in the time it takes you to find the ingredients in your pantry and fridge. Just 3 ingredients and you have a dip that you can also drizzle.

Try this Honey-Dijon Dipping Sauce with any chicken tender, or our favorite Puritan Backroom–Style Chicken Tenders.

3. Creamy Cajun-Spiced Dip

For the spice lovers, this creamy dip has a bit more kick. Creamy Cajun-Spiced Dip is ready to use as soon as you stir it up and lasts in the refrigerator for up to four days.

If you feel like going the extra mile (and getting even more heat), make your own Cajun Spice Rub.
