Cooking at Home with Bridget and Julia is a winning recipe collection from America’s Test Kitchen hosts Bridget Lancaster and Julia Collin Davison. This title is the perfect book for test kitchen fans and for anyone who appreciates great recipes. Meet their families, read about their paths to the test kitchen, and see what they make when there isn’t an army of prep cooks and dishwashers at the ready.

In our recent release, Cooking at Home with Bridget and Julia, Bridget and Julia have hand selected their all-time favorite America’s Test Kitchen recipes, including our Éclair Cake, which will make the perfect addition to your holiday table this season. But you don't have to take our word for it. Fanny from Oh Sweet Day! is a new fan of this new-to-her dessert.

"Have you heard about éclair cake? I didn’t until I came across with America’s Test Kitchen's new cookbook," Fanny wrote. "And oh my! How I missed such a wonderful dessert!"

With a couple of easy techniques (a quick stovetop pudding, whipped cream, and a microwave-and-stir glaze) and very little active time, we produced a from-scratch version that easily trumped its inspiration.

“This is such a spectacular no-bake dessert–no oven required and no baking skills required," Fanny wrote. “For a mother who cooks and bakes every day, I will have to say this cookbook is very close to my heart. What I love about this book is like what Bridget and Julia said, ‘Cooking for us is about feeding family and friends.’”

Take a cue from Bridget and Julia (and now Fanny!) and share this with your family this upcoming holiday.
