Editorial Director, Cook's Illustrated
Amanda Agee is the editorial director of Cook’s Illustrated. Early in her career she was a reporter in Hong Kong, where she developed a lifelong passion for char siu buns, egg tarts, and curry fish balls. An alum of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, she's been on staff at magazines including Gourmet and Vanity Fair. She never tires of hearing people’s stories about food—what they ate or made yesterday, last year, or growing up—and what makes those taste memories powerful.
