Alyssa Vaughn is the senior content editor of Cook's Illustrated. She is a St. Louis native and a reformed picky eater who is passionate about capturing the beauty and complexity of food on paper. A Boston College alum, she is a former dance teacher; high school educator; and journalist who has covered myriad topics for outlets such as Boston Magazine. Her great loves include her rice cooker, the crispy ends of lumpia, and scribbling notes all over her cookbooks.
