Olivia is a test cook for ATK's Books Team. While earning her degree in Marketing Communication at Emerson College, she began working in the kitchen of a local dumpling restaurant which became the catalyst for traveling the world, learning organic farming and the importance of local food, and her passion for cooking. Pivoting from long nights on the line to pastry, she worked her way through fine-dining kitchens in Cambridge and Boston until finding a home at ATK. Olivia's cooking style and techniques are heavily influenced by her travels and African American and Swedish roots. Growing up within two distinct cultures influenced her adventurous palate and strong belief that if you don't like something, you haven't tried the right version.
